Futures Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company. In this key role, you’ll lead a team of operatives and team leaders, driving daily production performance while supporting lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day production, ensuring targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Monitor product quality through inspections and corrective actions.
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing workforce.
- Collaborate with HR and the Production Manager to implement training and succession plans.
- Identify process bottlenecks and drive lean improvements to boost productivity.
- Ensure all health & safety standards are upheld on the shop floor.
- Maintain accurate production and performance records.
- Communicate KPIs, risks, and improvements to senior leadership.
- Support cross-functional coordination to achieve company goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a production supervisory role within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and process improvement.
- Confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Organised, proactive, and quality-focused.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable using production systems and Microsoft Office.
