  • Our client, a successful manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Technician / Quality Engineer for a temporary 6-month contract, with a salary of approximately £36,000.
  • The ideal candidate should have recent experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably within the Automotive industry.
  • Experience in Calibration, Metrology, and Warranty investigations is required, along with knowledge of Core Tools principles and an understanding of IATF 16949 accreditation.
  • The working hours are typically from 8:00 am to 4:10 pm, Monday to Friday, but may vary to accommodate holiday cover.
  • Candidates must be able to start on short notice and should have a background in relevant job titles such as QA Technician, Quality Controller, or Quality Auditor.

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Quality Technician / Quality Engineer to support within their QA Department.

This is a temporary contract, initially for 6 months, possibly longer. They are looking for someone who can start immediately.

  • Salary: Circa 36,000
  • Hours of work: Normally 8.00am to 4.10pm, Monday to Friday (could change in relation to supporting holiday cover).

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • You have recent experience as a Quality Engineer / Quality Technician / QA Engineer / Quality Assurance Technician, ideally in the Automotive industry.
  • You have experience of Calibration, Metrology and Warranty investigations.
  • Ideally you have knowledge of Core Tools principles.
  • You have an understanding of the IATF 16494 accreditation.
  • You can start with short notice.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • You will be involved in matters relating to quarantine, rework and reintroduction of products.
  • You will be assisting with control and corrective actions of non-conforming products.
  • Interaction will be necessary between suppliers and customers.
