We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s home looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to provide strategic oversight and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This role offers a flexible, one-day-per-week commitment with a competitive day rate of £500.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the children’s home to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
• Support and challenge the Registered Manager to maintain excellent care standards.
• Review policies, safeguarding practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Produce clear oversight reports and contribute to service development.
• Promote the welfare and safety of children and young people.

What they’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Responsible Individual or senior leader in children’s residential care.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to high standards of safeguarding and care.
