Housing Officer
Location: Barnsley / Hybrid Role
Salary: £24,500 - £30,790 (Pro Rata'd to 18.5 Hours)
Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract, 12 month maternity cover
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of tenants, ensuring tenancy compliance while providing support and guidance. You’ll be the first point of contact for housing-related queries and concerns, working closely with colleagues and external partners to resolve issues effectively.
Alongside day-to-day management, you’ll also support tenant engagement initiatives and play a key role in the co-production of house rules where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of tenants, ensuring tenancy compliance and support.
- Respond to housing-related queries and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to resolve issues.
- Support engagement initiatives and contribute to co-production of house rules where applicable.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in housing management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
The salary advertised below demonstrates the full earning potential for this role, starting salaries will allow for pay progression within the pay band.
