Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker with a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team in Barnsley.

About the Role:

  • Provide specialist social work support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, promoting their independence, well-being, and inclusion within the community.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and develop person-centered care plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
  • Collaborate effectively with individuals, their families, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Advocate for individuals' rights and access to appropriate services and support.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment focused on best practice and positive change.



Requirements:

  • Registered with Social Care England.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Social Worker.
  • Significant experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism is essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and case management skills. Experience with challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to person-centered care and ethical practice.
