Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding - Barnsley Location: Barnsley Pay Rate: £ 35/per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Social Worker specializing in Adult Safeguarding to join our esteemed client. To be successful in this role, candidates must have registration with Social Work England (SWE) as a Social Worker and hold a qualification equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).

Requirements for the role:

  • Undertake safeguarding enquiries involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults aged 18 and over.
  • Collaborate effectively with partner agencies including police, housing, and health professionals.
  • Apply strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998, and Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support effective multi-agency working.
  • Maintain strong social work values and work a minimum of three days per week in the office as part of a locality safeguarding team.
