Day-to-Day of the Role:- Develop and implement individualised educational programmes tailored to the unique needs of each child with autism.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, educational psychologists, and other SEN professionals to enhance student support.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest educational strategies and tools for supporting children with autism.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupils to engage and progress.
- Proven experience in an SEN setting, with a strong focus on autism.
- A robust understanding of the challenges and rewards of working with children with special educational needs.
- Confidence and commitment to go above and beyond in supporting educational and emotional development.
- Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo a new check.
