Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Personalised Education: Craft and execute individualised learning plans that cater specifically to the needs of each student, ensuring a tailored and inclusive educational experience.
- Engagement and Interaction: Utilise dynamic teaching methods to engage students and foster a stimulating learning environment where all children feel valued and motivated.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other Special Needs Teachers, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and interventions.
- Continuous Assessment: Regularly evaluate the progress of students against educational goals, adapting strategies as needed to optimise learning outcomes.
- Parental Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents or guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and receiving feedback to further enhance educational approaches.
- Proven Experience: Must have prior experience working with SEN students in a similar or transferable role.
- Certifications: A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one promptly.
- Educational Passion: A strong desire to assist children with special needs in exceeding their personal and educational goals.
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to employ creative teaching methods that make learning enjoyable and accessible.
