AGGREGATE MANAGER - OFFICE BASED - BARNSLEY

What We're Looking For

Relevant Qualifications:

  • WAMITAB Level 4 (COTC - Technical Competence) Preferred

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in operations, procurement, or materials management within aggregates, bulk earthworks, or waste/recycling sectors
  • Demonstrable experience managing suppliers, budgets, and stock levels
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance, quality, and safety management systems
  • Proven experience in procurement, stock management, and materials handling

Key Skills:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills for office-based operations
  • Competent in WMS/ERP systems, Excel, and procurement reporting
  • Analytical approach to stock control, cost management, and operational planning
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement and supplier management for soil, aggregates, and bulk materials.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and optimise material usage.
  • Ensure all processes comply with WAMITAB, H&S, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPIs for materials, suppliers, and budgets.
  • Support operational planning and liaise with site teams to align material supply with project schedules.
