We're recruiting for a managerial role at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Barnsley.
The position requires an experienced engineering leader with a background in electrical apprenticeship and a proven track record in leading teams within a manufacturing environment.
Candidates should possess skills in change management and demonstrate motivation, trustworthiness, reliability, and effective communication.
Responsibilities include leading the maintenance function, managing PPM activities, overseeing the CMMS, and staff development, with an emphasis on KPI monitoring and budget planning.
This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and offers a competitive salary of £50,000 per year.

We're recruiting for a state of the art manufacturing facility in Barnsley. This role is key to my clients continued development and expansion. No two days will be the same in this fast paced, managerial role. We're looking to engage with talented engineering leaders who are looking to take control of all the maintenance functions on site and coach and develop the existing engineering team.

The Person:

Apprentice Trained (Electrical).
Experienced leading an engineering team in a manufacturing setting.
Experience of change management.
Motivated / Trustworthy / Reliable / Effective communicator.

The Role:

Lead full Maintenance function of site.
Lead all PPM activity.
Take responsibility for the CMMS.
Set and monitor staff KPI's.
Annual budget planning.
Liaise with site suppliers.
Machine breakdown resolutions.
Staff development and recruitment.
