We are currently working with a heavy engineering business in Barnsley to recruit a number of Fabricator Welders. These roles are suitable for experienced Fabricators with at least 5 year's experience working with heavy steel.
You will be working with steel ranging from 6mm up to 50mm in thickness. These are on a Temporary basis but with the distinct possibility of a transfer to a permanent role.
The Job
- MIG and Stick welding
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Fabricating various types of heavy steel components
- Operating overhead cranes
- General workshop duties as required
You
- Minimum 5 year's fabrication experience
- Proven background working with heavy steel
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
Pay & Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:45pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
- Pay dependent on experience (minimum 15 per hour)
- Regular overtime is available
