We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer , based in Barnsley. We pride ourselves on our high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Due to expansion, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Aluminium TIG Welder to join our growing team.

Role Overview:As an Aluminium TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating aluminium components to meet the highest quality standards. You will work with both small and large projects, ensuring that welds are clean, precise, and meet our engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding on aluminium parts, ensuring high standards of quality and precision.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
  • Ensure all welded components are finished to a high standard, meeting both internal and client specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inspect finished products for any defects and perform necessary repairs.
  • Work with other team members to meet production deadlines and project goals.
  • Maintain welding equipment and report any issues to management for repair or replacement.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in aluminium TIG welding
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
  • Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.
  • Good communication skills.
