White Label is partnered with an engineering business based in Barnsley that require a Technical Administrator with a mechanical bias to join their R&D team on a 6-month fixed term contract initially.

The bulk of the role is focused on BOM creation using Epicor. There is potential that the fixed term contract will be extended to 12 months dependant on workload.

My client is offering a salary of 30,000 - 35,000, 38/hour work week with flexible start and finish times, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension and more.

Responsibilities of the Technical Administrator

  • Creating and maintaining component parts and BOMs in Epicor Kinetic
    • Including supplier/manufacturer details to spec
    • Working with sales-level and sub-assembly BOMs in a hierarchical structure
  • Creating and updating 2D cable assembly drawings using AutoCAD (Draftsight)
  • Managing and updating label drawings in MS Word
  • Using MS Office daily to support technical documentation and admin tasks

Experience required of the Technical Administrator

  • Working knowledge of part creation and BOM structuring
  • Comfortable with AutoCAD/Draftsight for 2D drawings
  • Confident using MS Word to manage label drawings
  • Fully fluent with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
  • Able to work on-site full-time in Barnsley
