Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join a busy team in Barnstaple, working with a well-respected waste and recycling services provider.
If you hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence and are confident navigating residential areas, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The Role:- Operate curb-side refuse/recycling collection vehicles across the local area.
- Load and assist with collections as required.
- Work as part of a team delivering an essential public service.
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence.
- Up-to-date CPC qualification.
- Good local knowledge of Barnstaple and surrounding areas.
- Comfortable manoeuvring large vehicles in tight residential streets.
- Previous experience in the waste or recycling sector (beneficial but not essential).
- £13.69 per hour.
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
- Ongoing temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.
- On-site induction and training provided.
- Weekly pay & online payslips.
- 28 days' paid annual leave (pro-rata for PAYE).
