About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our Contract Catering team in Barnstaple. Reporting directly to the Manager, you will oversee a team of 12 across two outlets, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in day-to-day operations across catering outlets.
- Oversee bar management, dining/function services, and reception services.
- Act as Duty Manager one weekend in four.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance.
- Assist with staffing, training, and performance management.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in bar management, dining/function operations, and front-of-house/reception services.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and support functions/events as required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
