WORKSHOP MANAGER
 
OTE: £55,000pa
 
Salary - £48,000pa - £52,000pa + Annual Bonus
Working Hours - 40 Hours per week
Location - Barnstaple
Benefits: Annual profit share bonus, enhanced pension scheme up to 10%, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
 
Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager or HGV Technician with senior experience within the municipal vehicle or refuse vehicle industry.
 
Responsibilities of a Workshop Manager
·Supervising and motivating our team of HGV Technicians and pro actively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help drive performance.
·Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing quality checks, resolving any issues, and re-assuring customers by providing all necessary information and advice.
·Supervises the daily time keeping of technicians and manages authorised absence to ensure a consistent level of attendance
·Maintaining relationships with vehicle manufacturer and providing technical information for Technicians during repair operations
·Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas
 
Skills and Qualifications of a Workshop Manager
·Prior experience in similar role
·HGV Technician experience
·Municipal, refuse or waste management industry experience
·Class 1 licence would be advantageous
