Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Refuse / Recycling Loaders for temporary ongoing roles in Barnstaple. These positions cover staff absence and sickness and require reliable individuals able to start immediately or at short notice.
Key Duties:
- Collect household waste and load it onto vehicles.
- Walk alongside refuse and recycling vehicles as they move along the route.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Handle heavy lifting safely throughout the shift.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Able to lift heavy loads safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Must be available Wednesday 24 September for induction.
What We Offer:
- Pay rate of 12.21 per hour, rising to 12.65 after 12 weeks.
- Ongoing temporary work based on rota and cover needs.
