Junior Bookkeeper

Role: Junior Bookkeeper

Salary: up to 19k-22k

Location: Bolton

Our client is looking for a bookkeeper to join their well respected and forward thinking Accountancy Practice on the outskirts of Bolton.

The role:

• Preparation of accounts to trial balance

• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
• Bank reconciliations, Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger
• Responsibility of managing a portfolio of clients for all bookkeeping, and accounts processing services.
• Reconciliation of all balance sheet items
• Bookkeeping and data entry
• Tax Returns

Skills:

• Working knowledge of accounting systems, including Sage 50 Accounts and Xero
• Excellent bookkeeping skills
• Excellent customer Service Skills
• Ability to prioritise own workload and work well under pressure
• Must be able to work as part of a team and be able to work on their own
• Excellent time keeping and attendance
