Supplier Quality Engineer

Morson are working with the UK's largest Defence Manufacturer who are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the company.

Electrical or Mechanical background preferable but will consider from some other industries.

The roles offers Hybrid working of 3 days on site 2 from home.

Strong problem solving skills with industry standard tools,

• 8D, Ishikawa,
• 5Why,
• DMAIC (latter nice to have).

Considerable experience in

• customer complaints,
• customer/supplier relationship management. Ideally the relationship owner of the supplier to the customer.
• resolving none conformance reports (NCRs)
• Corrective Action requests (CARs) or otherwise referenced as CAPA/RCCA.

Skills:

• The ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements and cascade to others
• Lead facilitator of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; Fishbone, 5 Why, relationship diagrams, six sigma etc. gathering and analysing evidence
• Effective action management and verification
• Effective stakeholder management (including with the customer)
