Morson are looking to recruit Caulkers on behalf of our client in Barrow.
These contracts are initially 12 months with a strong likelihood of extension.
Successful candidates must be time served and able to provide trade papers on application, ideally with previous experience with shipbuilding/marine/heavy industry.
Caulkers will need to have understanding in:
• Using Steelwork drawings
• MMA Tack Welding & Basic Thermal Cutting
• Abrasive wheels
• Pumps & Fairing Aids
• You must pass this to continue your contract
Key understanding of the SHE Processes and Policies.
Use of appropriate extraction & ventilation as well as PPE & RPE.
Shifts can vary. Predominant shift patterns 3 on 4 off and nights:
3 on 4 off - Locals: £23.28 PAYE Non locals: £31.28 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)
STD - Locals: £19.40 PAYE Non locals: £27.40 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)

Successful candidates will be required to gain Security clearance and pass a trade test before eligible to start on site.
