Street Operative - Temporary Roles Available

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference in our community? We are seeking two enthusiastic Street Operatives to join our dynamic team in the Waste Management sector. If you enjoy working outdoors and are physically fit, this could be the perfect job for you!

Position Details:

  • Role: Street Operative
  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Start Date: 20th October 2025

Locations & Duration:

  • Kendal Site:
  • 1 person required
  • Duration: 1 week only
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 AM - 2 PM
  • Barrow Site:
  • 1 person required
  • Duration: Minimum 4 weeks, may be extended
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 AM - 2 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Load and unload refuse wagons
  • Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
  • Work as part of a dedicated team to keep our streets clean and green
