Are you passionate about teaching young children? Do you have experience in KS1 If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a Primary KS1 Teacher to work in one of our Barrow-in-Furness primary schools. The school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for its pupils and is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team, working 5 days a week 8.30-3.30 with daily pay rates £130 - £190.

As the Primary KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences to the children. You will need to plan and deliver, creative and engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each child, whilst also working closely with parents and colleagues to ensure their progress and development.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher who is passionate about education and has a proven track record of delivering excellent results. You will have a good knowledge pf Phonics, SATs, Read, Write Inc. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also have a strong commitment to inclusion and be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all pupils.

To join us and be successful in this Primary KS1 Teacher role you will need to:

  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications PGCE/QTS status/KS1 Specialism.
  • Experience of working in EYFS/Primary settings.
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
