Academics is an education recruitment agency with strong, long-standing partnerships across primary and secondary schools throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for September 2025 to support schools in a variety of roles, including general classroom support, 1:1 intervention, and SEN provision.

Whether you are an experienced TA or looking to build your experience in education, we want to hear from you!

Roles Available:
  • General classroom support across Early Years, KS1, and KS2

  • 1:1 support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

  • Small group interventions for literacy and numeracy

  • Behaviour support and pastoral assistance

Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children or young people

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Academics)

  • Relevant qualifications or training in childcare, education, or SEN support (desirable)

  • A positive, proactive, and reliable approach to supporting pupils and staff
