Our client, Vale of Glamorgan Council, is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Intake and Assessment team
The Intake and Assessment team is a dynamic and exciting team with a varied and interesting workload
Our function is to: Provide a timely response to Safeguarding concerns, undertake sec 126 enquiries and liaise with partners to develop safe care & support plans Respond to people experiencing crises through assessment, support and family liaison and the commissioning emergency placements/care packages when necessary.
Essential:
* Social workers with over3 years practising work experience
* Working with more complex cases
* Supervising student Social Workers
* Provide Supervision, coaching and mentoring
* Practice Assessor
* To participate fully in professional supervision consistent with the Directorate Supervision Policy and Workload Management Policy
* Meet the requirements of the Social Worker Career Progression Framework
