About the Role

We’re proud to be working in partnership with vibrant and inclusive SEN schools who are looking for enthusiastic Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated teams.

As an ALN member of staff, you’ll be:

  • Supporting children and young people with a range of additional learning needs in both classroom and individual settings.
  • Assisting with personal care and ensuring the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of all pupils.
  • Using your creativity and empathy to help deliver tailored learning activities.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in manual handling (training can be provided)
  • A valid Enhanced DBS — or be willing to apply (we can help with this!)
  • EWC registration (Education Workforce Council) — or willingness to register
  • A background in education or community care (support workers, personal assistants, or home carers often excel in this role)
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
