Security Officer

We're actively recruiting for an experienced Security Officer to join our clients team based in Barton Under Needwood on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out gatehouse duties, monitoring access to the site

• Sign in visitors and deliveries, ensuring they are expected and authorised

• Liaise with colleagues and site staff to maintain smooth operations

• Conduct regular site patrols to ensure safety and security standards are upheld

• Respond promptly to incidents, escalating where necessary

• Maintain accurate records and logs in line with site procedures

Candidate requirements:

• Strong communication skills and professional manner

• Reliable, punctualand able to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents

• Team player with a proactive approach to maintaining site safety

• Previous security or gatehouse experience essential

• Valid SIA licence advantageous

Working hours:

• 4 on 4 off 6am - 6pm
