Are you an inspiring Drama teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in a supportive and thriving secondary school?

Education Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school committed to providing a high-quality education for all our students. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Drama teacher to join the dedicated Performing Arts department on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Foster a love of Drama and develop students' confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and achieve their full potential.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, potentially including extracurricular Drama clubs, school productions, and trips.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Performing Arts department and the wider school team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Drama curriculum and best teaching practices.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (at least 6 months)
  • Has a strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Drama.
  • Possesses excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is able to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Is organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Has experience of teaching Drama at the secondary school level.
