Our client, a well-established organisation within the education and training sector, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Installation Instructor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality instruction in electrical installation to students
- Travelling between the organisation's three sites, necessitating a full driving licence and personal vehicle
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans and practical sessions
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Completing and reviewing necessary documentation and reports
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience
- Undertaking relevant training and development to stay current in the field
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in electrical installation
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel between multiple sites
- A teaching qualification is preferred, but relevant industry experience is essential
- Commitment to obtaining a teaching qualification if not already held (with support and funding provided by the organisation)

- 42 days annual leave (including bank holidays), with a mandatory period during Christmas shutdown
- Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:15 and Friday 8:00 - 16:00
