We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school team. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual passionate about fostering a love of physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles among students. The role is to start immediately and will continue until the next academic year.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
- Promote physical fitness and develop students' motor skills and physical development.
- Organise and coordinate sports events and physical activities.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their physical and educational development.
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricular activities.
- Encourage teamwork and personal development among students through various sports and physical education activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education.
- Experience in teaching PE at secondary school level.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities.
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy in physical education.
- First aid certification is preferred.
