We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school team. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual passionate about fostering a love of physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles among students. The role is to start immediately and will continue until the next academic year.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that comply with the national curriculum.
  • Promote physical fitness and develop students' motor skills and physical development.
  • Organise and coordinate sports events and physical activities.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their physical and educational development.
  • Maintain a positive, energetic, and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricular activities.
  • Encourage teamwork and personal development among students through various sports and physical education activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education.
  • Experience in teaching PE at secondary school level.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities.
  • Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy in physical education.
  • First aid certification is preferred.
