Semi Senior Accountant
AMBER Partnership Ltd are currently seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
We are a modern firm of Accountants situated in Basildon. We offer a full range of accounting services to their clients, who include sole traders, partnerships and SME’s.
Semi Senior Accountant 's key duties will include:
As Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be involved in a variety of accounts and tax work, supporting a wide-ranging client base across SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and individuals. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts and management accounts
- Assisting with VAT returns, CIS returns and bookkeeping
- Supporting on personal and corporate tax compliance
- Client interaction via phone, email and in person
- Providing support to the Director and Senior Managers on ad hoc projects
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years practice experience
- Actively studying towards AAT, ACCA, or ACA
- A genuine team player who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment
- Eager to contribute to a forward-thinking, tech-savvy accountancy firm that values innovation and continuous improvement
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality work with accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Brings a proactive, “can-do” approach to problem-solving and collaboration
