My client has a strong presence in the industry and they are calling on skilled mechanical estimators to come in and hit the ground running by way of executing thorough and complete tenders. A great long term career opportunity to apply technical knowledge in a professional environment. This role will suit those who are used to balancing a busy and varied workload.
Your Duties:
* Carrying out material, mechanical and public health system take offs, obtaining sub-contractor and supplier quotes and utilising estimating software to build quotes
* Reviewing tender information and developing cost plans and budget estimates
* Occasionally attend site visits and pre/post tender interviews
* Reviewing tender specifications and documentation to ensure tender is accurately prepared inline with requirements
Your Experienc
* Proven mechanical estimating experience
* Time served mechanical engineer/estimator (backgrounds from building services, M&E, construction or similar)
* Strong technical knowledge of current mechanical regulations
* Able to manage a diverse and varied workload
