As such, we are currently seeking a Service Account Manager, you will be the face of the company to our customers and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of key accounts and contracts within the retail petroleum Industry. You will work closely with the operational and project delivery teams to ensure continuous improvement and delivery for your key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as key interface between assigned customers, to build, maintain and cultivate strong relationships, ensure monitoring, reporting and delivering on contractual obligations and driving improvements for key accounts.
  • Work closely with the relevant internal/external stakeholders to ensure the on-time delivery of agreed projects and planned works for your customers.
  • Management of account specific KPIs, conducting regular data analysis, gap analysis and implementing root cause counter measures and solution development to drive improvements.
  • Identify, investigate and manage issues to resolution in a timely manner ensuring the best possible outcome for all parties.
  • To understand the inclusions and exclusions of the contracts to ensure work is carried out within the realms of the agreement and any additional work undertake is fully quoted for and invoiced accordingly.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record within account management managing multiple contracts coupled with the ability to foster and nurture relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and written along with previous experience of presenting internally and externally.
  • A strategic thinker constantly considering impact of internal and external actions on how you manage and improve your accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to review data and use it to provide insights internally and externally.
  • A self sufficient, proactive learner with a curious mind - keen to dive into our industry and understand your clients as well as keeping up to date with the petroleum industry.

Our UK Head Office is based in Basildon, Essex and we currently work a Hybrid model.
