Accounts / Credit Control Administrator (Maternity Cover - 12 Months)Location: Essex / Full-Time / Basildon

An established international logistics company is seeking a proactive Accounts Administrator for a 12-month maternity cover contract. You’ll be responsible for managing the UK sales ledger, chasing outstanding payments, resolving customer queries, and supporting audit and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and chase overdue accounts

  • Manage invoice queries and customer correspondence

  • Allocate payments and reconcile discrepancies

  • Conduct credit checks and maintain account records

  • Support monthly reporting and external audits

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit control with a high volume of accounts

  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

  • Strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full training will be provided. Immediate start preferred.

  • 9am - 5:15 Mon to Fri
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank
