Accounts / Credit Control Administrator (Maternity Cover - 12 Months)Location: Essex / Full-Time / Basildon
An established international logistics company is seeking a proactive Accounts Administrator for a 12-month maternity cover contract. You’ll be responsible for managing the UK sales ledger, chasing outstanding payments, resolving customer queries, and supporting audit and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and chase overdue accounts

Manage invoice queries and customer correspondence

Allocate payments and reconcile discrepancies

Conduct credit checks and maintain account records

Support monthly reporting and external audits
Requirements:

Experience in credit control with a high volume of accounts

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full training will be provided. Immediate start preferred.
- 9am - 5:15 Mon to Fri
- 20 days annual leave plus bank
- Workplace pension
- £24k - £27k per annum
