About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Technical Reporting and Development Analyst to join our Sales Planning & Administration team. This pivotal role is designed to support strategic decision-making by delivering high-quality reporting, in-depth analysis, and actionable insights. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming complex data into clear, concise information that drives business performance and aligns with our organizational goals.

Position Title: Technical Reporting and Development Analyst

Department: Sales Planning & Administration

Location: Laindon - Must drive due to location

Employment Type: Full-Time - Hybrid

Salary £30k -£35K

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Reporting:

Monitor, evaluate, and analyse sales performance metrics, providing timely and accurate insights to key stakeholders.

Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) across various business segments.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting processes.?

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with senior management, marketing teams, and dealership networks to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.

Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making.?

3. Forecasting & Planning:

Manage the weekly Car & Commercial Vehicle (CV) Forecast process, ensuring alignment and consistency across departments.

Utilize historical data and market trends to develop accurate sales forecasts and identify potential risks and opportunities.?

4. Process Management:

Oversee and continuously improve reporting processes, identifying areas for efficiency enhancements and automation opportunities.

Implement best practices in data management and reporting standards.?

5. Presentation & Communication:

Prepare high-quality reports and presentations that effectively translate complex data into actionable insights for various audiences, including senior leadership.

Communicate findings clearly and concisely, facilitating informed decision-making.?

6. Compliance & Accuracy:

Ensure all reports and analytical processes comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

Maintain up-to-date documentation for all reporting procedures and methodologies.?

Experience:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and macros; experience with data visualization tools (e.g.VLOOKUPS/XLOOKUPS, Sumfits, Countiss, Pivots etc…).?

Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within the automotive sector.

Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.?

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured and methodical approach.

Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to meeting stakeholders' reporting needs efficiently.
