We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our busy distribution team in Basildon. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced role and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You will be responsible for delivering exterior car parts—such as lights, panels, and bumpers—as well as supporting daily warehouse operations.

Your week will typically be split between driving duties and warehouse tasks, depending on business needs.

• Collect, load, and prepare the van for daily deliveries of exterior car parts (lights, panels, bumpers, etc.).

• Scan, label, and prepare orders for dispatch.

• Load and unload vehicles safely.

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.

• Assist colleagues and support general warehouse operations.

• Deliver car parts to trade and retail customers within the local area.

• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

• Record deliveries and obtain proof of delivery via handheld device or paperwork.

• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift, promptly reporting any issues.

• Represent the company professionally on the road and at customer sites.

We are seeking someone dependable, proactive, and adaptable, who enjoys varied work and takes pride in excellent customer service.

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points; no DR or IN convictions).

• Previous driving or warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to safely handle car parts of various sizes.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.

• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.

• £31,000 per year.
