Due to increased global growth, a leading Freight company is expanding its Sales team! They are looking for a driven Sales Executive to cover a dynamic region including Essex and Home Counties, selling across all modes of freight.
This is a hybrid role based out of the Basildon office, with flexibility to work remotely and attend the office regularly. You’ll be on the move frequently, so a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the region
- Profiling new clients to understand their freight and customs needs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and overseas agents
- Managing and updating the CRM system to track leads and client interactions
- Representing the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets through strategic and technical selling
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in freight sales
- Strong knowledge of Import/Export multimodal logistics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK, a driver’s license, and vehicle access
- £5,000 annual car allowance
