CNC Machine Operator / CNC Miller / CNC Turner Precision Engineering Basildon

Talent Media is working in partnership with an innovative leader in the precision engineering industry to recruit skilled CNC professionals for their Basildon facility.

Location: Basildon
Hours: 37 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday rotating shifts

Purpose of the Role:

Youll be responsible for operating CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-quality, precision components aligned with engineering specifications and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load materials and safely unload finished products
  • Cut, grind, or drill materials as required, adjusting speeds and machine settings
  • Follow technical drawings and quality specifications
  • Comply with safety procedures, process documentation, and operating standards
  • Maintain accurate logs of production activities and equipment issues
  • Inspect machinery regularly for mechanical and safety concerns
  • Ensure tooling and materials are well-stocked to reduce downtime
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support flexible production needs during peak periods

  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings
