Due to continued growth and new project demand, we are seeking a skilledCNC Machine Operatorwith experience in both milling and turning to join our client dynamic team based in Basildon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges).
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean working environment.
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating CNC milling and turning machines (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazak controls is an advantage.
