A well-established and rapidly growing office furniture fit-out company based in Basildon is seeking an Installation Site Supervisor (SMSTS REQUIRED) to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, expanding business, with excellent long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and overseeing installation teams on-site, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
- Carrying out office furniture installations alongside the team - leading by example.
- Coordinating tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Acting as the main point of contact on-site for both the client and the company.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism throughout each project.
The Ideal Candidate:
- SMSTS - essential.
- Previous experience in installations or fitting (office furniture experience preferred but not essential).
- CSCS card - essential.
- Driving licence - desirable but not essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee a team while working hands-on.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility for project demands.
Additional Information:
- Start time: 6:00am (from the warehouse).
- Pay: 15.00 per hour (paid from leaving the warehouse to returning).
- Hours: Guaranteed 10 hours per day.
- Days: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend overtime available.
- Most jobs are local or within a 2-hour radius of the depot.
