Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Joinery Foreman with proven track record to take charge of their busy workshop and drive excellence across all aspects of production and installation.

About the Joinery Foreman Role:
As the Joinery Foreman, you'll spend around 75% of your time on the tools while leading a skilled team both in the workshop and on installations when required. You’ll oversee daily operations, maintain the highest standards, and ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities of the Joinery Foreman:
- Oversee and direct daily workshop operations
- Supervise and mentor and motivate joinery staff, ensuring strong team performance
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate workload and resources
- Monitor and maintain workshop equipment and ensure a safe, clean environment
- Enforce safety standards and lead by example
- Assist recruiting, train, and review team members
- Manage inventory and material supplies
- Perform administrative duties: track project progress, assist with planning
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate manufacturing
- Proactively identify and resolve production challenges
- Drive workflow optimization and process improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in joinery and woodworking (minimum 5+ years preferred)
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop setting
- Expert knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
- Strong communication, organization, and team-building abilities
- A commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality
- Maintain personal levels of training to ensure knowledge is up to date
