We are working with a long-established engineering firm specialising in the design and build of bespoke machinery. As part of their continued success and growth in new technologies, they are now seeking a Project Coordinator to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start times and an early finish on Fridays. Overtime is paid for any hours over your contractual working week.As Project Coordinator, you will support the Head of Manufacturing by taking ownership of the planning, coordination, and control of machine installations. This is a site-based role with occasional travel to customer sites, typically less than a week at a time.Core duties include:
  • Planning and controlling machine installation activities across manufacturing
  • Maintaining detailed resource and capacity plans for installation teams
  • Creating and updating site installation plans and task data
  • Attending internal, external, and customer-facing meetings
  • Leading resolution of site issues
  • Supporting the Head of Manufacturing with installation budget forecasting
About you:
  • Previous experience in an engineering build and installation environment
  • Experience in a customer-facing and/or leadership role
  • Strong project planning and coordination skills
  • Confident reading mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings
  • Proficient in MS Project and Excel
  • Calm and organised under pressure with excellent prioritisation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal ability
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
