About the RoleWe are looking for a Painter and Decorator to join our team in Basildon. You will be responsible for both responsive and planned painting and decorating tasks in occupied and void properties. This includes glossing, emulsion, and papering. You will ensure all surfaces are prepared properly and deliver high-quality finishes. Exceptional customer service is a must, as our customers always come first. You will use a handheld device to receive and complete tasks (training provided), working efficiently and safely to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform painting and decorating tasks, including glossing, emulsion, and papering.
  • Ensure proper surface preparation and high-quality finishes.
  • Use a handheld device to receive and complete tasks.
  • Work efficiently and safely, following best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds or NVQ qualification in painting and decorating.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
  • Experience working in both occupied and void properties.
  • Passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with mould washing.
  • Ideally, hold a Blue CSCS card or work towards one.
  • Valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for at least 12 months (company vehicle provided for work use).
