Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to step into a managerial position and gain exposure to managing a team whilst being mentored by an established Finance Manager?Â
A dynamic fast-growing business based in South Essex are looking for a Credit Control Manager to take on a small team whilst working on various projects around process improvements, efficiencies and cost-saving exercises.Â
This is a great opportunity for someone who has some management experience but are looking to broaden their expertise with the opportunity to progress within the next 12 months.Â
As a Credit Control Manager you will be:Â
- Managing a team of Credit Control OfficersÂ
- Formulation of the company's credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk
- Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure creditworthiness
- Preparing journal entries, and credit notes and assisting with month end
- Review and report on Aged Debtors
- Regularly meet and negotiate terms with third-party debt collection agencies
- Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans
- Preparation of statement of claims for liquidators
- Assisting the broader accounts teamÂ
- Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtor days
As a Credit Control Manager you will get:Â
- Salary up to £40,000

- Working Hours 9am - 5pmÂ
