We are currently seeking dedicated HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers with a valid ADR certification for a full-time, night truck position based in Basildon.
The driver will be operating Monday to Friday on 10-hour night shifts, with potential weekend work.
Successful applicants will be committed to safety, responsible vehicle care, and adhering to all depot rules and legislative requirements.
- Night shifts: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts
- Possible weekend shifts
- Drive and operate vehicles in line with Road Traffic Legislation and the Highway Code.
- Conduct and report all daily vehicle checks, ensuring the vehicle remains clean and serviceable.
- Use all safety equipment effectively, including PPE, with strict adherence to health and safety policies.
- Comply with all company procedures and legislative requirements at all times.
- Return all relevant documentation, including PODs and PDAs, as instructed by your manager or supervisor.
- Experience: 2 years of driving a Goods Vehicle and 2 years of trunking (preferred).
- Licenses/Certifications:
- HGV Category C+E Driver License (UK)
- ADR Certificate (Packages)
- Driver CPC
- Up-to-date medical certification
- Language: Proficiency in spoken English for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
