Our client in Basildon (SS14) is looking for a skilled Logistics Operative for a full-time temporary position.
The role involves working 37 hours per week until December 2025, with the potential for extension.
Candidates should have experience in logistics, warehouse, retail, or stock management, along with proficiency in SAP or similar systems.
A clean driving license and excellent attention to detail are essential, while forklift certification is desirable but retraining can be provided.
The position requires sole UK nationality and the ability to obtain SC Security Clearance, with a salary of £XX,XXX.

Our client, based in Basildon (SS14), are seeking a skilled Logistics Operative.This is a full-time temporary position working 37 hours per week until December 2025 with the possibility of extension.

What you will do:

The Logistics Operative will work within the Logistics Team performing set daily tasks to support the transition of materials through the hub to meet business requirement and service level agreements.
Carry out a range of tasks including Goods Receipt, Picking, Stock relocation, Repair receipt, packing, Perpetual inventory checks, Inter-sitetransport etc.
Work in line with business process, SAP, and local Logistics standard Operating processes.

Essential Requirements:

Logistic, Warehouse, Retail and Stock Management experience
Experience in use of SAP or similar business system
Clean Driving license
Excellent attention to detail
Computer Literate
The ability to use own initiative when working unsupervised

Desirable Requirements:

Certificated to use a fork lift & Reach truck, Pallet Stacker truck and MEWP. Retraining can be provided if licenses have been previously held.

One of the forklifts requires working at height which you must be comfortable with and will be required to pass a medical.

Due to the nature of the position and the stock/materials that will be processed in this role, Sole UK Nationality is required and you must either hold SC Security Clearance, or be able to quickly obtain this.
