An established Essex based SME is seeking a Finance Manager to take a leading role in shaping financial strategy, enhancing business processes, and supporting company growth.As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate financial information, overseeing compliance and regulatory requirements, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. You’ll play a key role in enhancing systems and driving continuous improvement across finance and project teams.
  • Prepare statutory and management accounts, ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver timely financial reporting including costings, cash flow forecasts, and gross profit analysis.
  • Provide regular updates on system improvement projects to Senior Management
  • Apply problem-solving skills to navigate project challenges and propose practical solutions
  • Lead and support the finance team in daily operations, motivating staff and managing workload
