Forklift Driver

gap personnel are seeking a Counterbalance forklift driver to join our client’s distribution team in Laindon.

Hours: 09:00-17:00

Location: Laindon SS15

Type: temporary – Full time – Temporary, ongoing position.

Pay: £13.50ph

Start date: Mon 24th November

Key duties:

• Placing and removing pallets at height
• Loading and unloading boxes
• Assisting with audit counts,
• Transporting goods around the warehouse
• Maintaining accurate stock locations
• Conducting basic pre-use checks on the FLT

Skills & Experience:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT license (essential).
• Experience operating a forklift safely and confidently.
• Able to lift to 15 kg using correct manual-handling techniques.
• General warehouse experience, including pallet movements and stock handling.
• Good attention to detail for accurate counting and stock checks.
• Awareness of health & safety requirements in a warehouse.
