Forklift Driver - Permanent Role
Basildon, Essex | 13.85 per hour | Monday to Friday

We are recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a growing logistics, distribution, and supply chain operation in Basildon. This is a permanent opportunity within a business that is actively expanding and investing in its people.

Working a rotating early and late shift, you will play a key role in keeping goods moving efficiently and safely across the warehouse operation.

What you will be doing:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch

• Completing relevant paperwork and system checks

• Supporting general warehouse and housekeeping standards

• Undertaking manual handling tasks as required

What we are looking for:

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence

• Experience in logistics distribution and supply chain

• At least 1 year's forklift experience (groupage experience preferred)

• Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on role

• Ability to pass a DBS check

• Full UK driving licence

• Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:

  • 06:00 - 14:30

  • 11:30 - 20:00

• 37.5 hours per week
