Yard Forklift Driver - 14.00 per hour
Location: Basildon Essex, Monday-Friday, Day Shifts (Early Finish Friday!)
Temporary to Permanent Contract

We're looking for an experienced Yard Forklift Driver to join our close-knit team at a leading structural steel fabrication firm. If you're confident in handling uneven loads, take pride in a tidy yard, and are happy to muck in when needed, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

You'll be an essential part of our operations, handling materials and supporting our fabrication process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts to move uneven and heavy structural steel loads, including use of extra-long forks

• Manual handling of materials when required

• Completing digital paperwork accurately using a tablet

• Supporting your small, friendly team to keep things running smoothly

• Maintaining a safe and tidy yard environment

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence and confident operating in a small outdoor yard

• Experience handling awkward or heavy loads, ideally within a steel or construction environment

• Comfortable using digital devices (basic tablet use for paperwork)

• Team player with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic

• 14.00 per hour

• Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects

• Monday to Friday day shift (early finish on Fridays!)
